A new year, and it has been an interesting 2016. Working with the amazing people at Onionlab, Antiloop, Trendforward, Antenna International, InteractiveConsultancy, TalkaboutMedia.
A VR experience built for Oculus Rift. An imaginary trip around five worlds, transporting the viewer to the guts of one of the singles from “Disconnect”, the latest work by the Catalan producer Undo.
Antiloop asked me to develop interactive 3D animations for their Toyota VR experience.
U ARE FIELDTEST
After 3 months of extensive testing we’re now selecting the most usefull spots, and creating and gathering content. There are a number of walls added to the ‘spots’. Barcelona has been built on and with rubble from previous versions of the city, dating back to early Roman times. This makes that the old city centre is a collage of different building styles and many walls are built from the debris. These make great markers to be recognized by the U ARE app! We’re able to create urban art, street art without ‘damaging the built cultural heritage’;

Innovation and tradition come together in The Language of Flavour, Spain Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015, which is based on three main pillars: a successful chain of food production, the quality and diversity of our diet and cuisine, and sustainable agriculture and farming as a tool to preserve the landscape, heritage and development of alternative models of tourism.
The International Mapping Festival of Girona, held from 24 July to 2 August in Girona, will present—for the very first time in Spain—an anaglyph 3D mapping show (two-dimensional images that become 3D when seen with special glasses) on a large-sized façade.
My designerfriend NEXPA asked me to help out a bit with another architectural presentation. I ended up lighting all the scenes and preparing composit. We had an enormous CAD file, which was the first challenge, plus not much renderpower, so I had to fake GI and use all the tricks in the book to have a more lively look and feel. This is a preview of our W.I.P. Final clip to be announced…
Together with talkaboutmedia, based in Dubai, we created this animation for Al Alali’s jam and preserves. It was quite a challenge, because we needed to make two versions; one english and one arab. My arab is a bit rusty, but it came out well check out both versions here:
For the launch of Sony Entertainment Television in Germany, Comodoscreen was commissioned to create the graphic package. Focusing on series and movies, the idea was to choose elements that already worked and combine concepts to target the new German audience. Check the compilation here…
This idea is inspired by ‘Picasso et la Dance’ a dance performance by ‘Ballets Russe’ with costumes and decors designed by Pablo Picasso, and also inspired by ‘objets trouvé’, an idea first utilized also by Picasso, and later ‘perfected’ by Marcel Duchamp.
